Yes, it is YOU! Don't look so surprised!

The August April Harrison's Friend of the Month Award and all the rights and privleges that go along with it, is given on this day, August 3rd, 2002, to Miss. Stacy Alexis Ellerbe (soon to be Stacy Alexis Ellerbe Smith) of Matthews, NC.

Stacy and I met in 10th grade at the high school everyone loved to hate - Providence Senior High and have managed to keep our friendship going strong since then despite living in different towns and going to different schools.

Some of Stacy's hobbies include peeling the skin off her feet, dancing in dashikis (dashikii?), wearing bronzing powder, crying in Mexican restaurants, offering rides to strangers, scraping the extra whipped cream off her pancakes from IHOP after it had been so carefully placed, freaking out people in the Krispie Kreme bathroom, attracting scary men wherever she goes, making certain people think she was ACTUALLY going to WEAR THAT?! and calling safety.

Some of our common interests include wiggling our noses and not picking them, making audio tapes while driving around the town, buying colored underwear, having rancid conversations in public places, posing as trees and bushes at ECU, being trapped into "helping the children" for cheap bracelets, getting down on our knees to Jewel songs in Walmarts, making Ramen Noodle Soup in mass quantities in dorm room kitchens, running down sand dunes with our shoes in our hands and shampooing our hair simultaneously.

Stacy won this award for many reasons. To begin, she neared a perfect 10 in the application process by correctly submitting that I was enticing, fascinating, fun, gorgeous, hot, intelligent, sexy AND thrilling, that I was so cool and that she thinks about me 10+ times a day. She also graduated from college two months ago AND TODAY is her wedding day!
