August 2002 - A hair affair:
I did it. I finally cut my hair. Not big news for most people, but for me, quite the feat. The stylist cut off 12" to send to Locks of Love and then a few inches more to shape it. Now it's a couple of inches below my shoulder - the shortest hair I've had since junior high school. Can you believe I didn't shed a single tear! Aren't you proud?

October 2001 - Exciting news from the job front:
As you all know, I work in the wonderful world of Kroger Pharmacy. Well, last Friday, I found out that a secret shopper (an employee of Kroger who comes to the store to shop and rate the employee's customer service, speed, accuracy, problem solving, etc.) had come to the store and rated about 20 employees, giving ME the highest rating in the store - 100%. My helpful heart is swollen with pride. I got my name announced over the intercom to the rabid cheering of fellow employees and shoppers, along with a $5 gift certificate. My life is full...

May 2001 - Politics
President Bush decided to let everyone in on a secret. His diploma was fake and he never graduated from Yale. To rectify the situation, he has decided to enroll at ECU. I think he just wants to party. Boy, did I graduate in the nick of time.
