The April April Harrison's Friend of the Month Award (a.k.a. April Squared) and all the rights and privleges that go along with it, is given on this day, June 5th, 2001 (April 1st - plus a month or two), to Miss. Laura Jacovec, of Winston/Raleigh/LA/Raleigh/Wilmington.

Laura and I met during our sophomore year at NCSU. She was roommates with my friend Kristen. After an initial year or two of warming up to each other, we became fast friends!

Some of Laura's hobbies include kissing her family members goodbye for hours, crying at movies, moving cross country, running away from mooses (meese?), forgetting her luggage on roadtrips, shopping at Goody's, playing with her sausage patties, dedicating songs to the one-toothed Waffle House Wonder, managing to capture me in horribly grotesque facial expressions in each and every picture she takes and sneaking the hoi polloi into closed sets in LA.

Some of our common interests include stalking famous men and not so famous men, sharing quotes, eating lemon chicken from Beansprout, emailing lines from Shag, debating the differences between mystical nubbins and gozongas, drooling over Pacey whilst making fun of Dawson's head and searching for ointments to aleviate the pain of our friend Sol Rosenbergs's ass warts. BAMM!

Laura won this award for many reasons. To begin, she neared a perfect 10 in the application process by correctly submitting that I was enticing, fascinating, fun, gorgeous, hot, intelligent, sexy AND thrilling, that I was so cool and that she thinks about me 10+ times a day. That, and it is her 24th birthday today!

Congrats, Laura, on this most prestigous award.
